Space Party Game
This space party game call also be called star relay game or Galaxy relay game. This space party game is suitable to play in any outdoor theme party that related to space theme party, astronaut party theme, galaxy theme party, etc.. . You don’t have to use star, you can use cut planet shape and or space ship space from the construction paper as long as any object that is related to space theme party will do.
Space party game instructions
Age
This space party game is suitable for children between 5 to 6 years old
MATERIAL NEEDED
1. A side of a tent, wall or fence
2. 1 sheet of construction paper per 4 children scissors (for preparation only)
3. Masking tape
4. 1 pen or pencil
PREPARATION
Before the party – cut star shapes from the construction paper and write the children’s names on
them, one per star. If there is an uneven number o players, prepare a star for yourself or an
adult helper to run the relay. Tape the stars randomly on the side of a tent, wall or fence to appear as a galaxy.
Before you play – divide the children into two teams.
INTRODUCING THE RELAY
“A star has been named after each one of you. Find your star in the ‘galaxy’ and bring it back to Earth."
HOW TO PLAY
The first runner in each line will run to the ‘ galaxy” and find the star that was named after them,
grab the star and return to tag the next runner on their team. The first team to retrieve all of their personalized stars from the “galaxy” wins.
SPECIAL TOUCH
Use glow-in-the-dark stars with names written in permanent marking pen and pay at dusk.
