For pirate party invitations you would make anything that related to ocean and pirate ship and map.

• If you wanted to be creative you would like your party detail on a piece of paper and burn the map roll it out and stuck inside a milk bottle or Pepsi bottle.

• Make an eye patch for each child and write your party details on it.

• Cut out an island shape from construction paper or cardboard and write the kid pirate party detail on it

• Cut out a map from the construction paper, draw your map to direct to the party venue and write down the party details on the map sent to your guests.

• Make eye patch from black paper or material fastened to black ribbon/elastic.

• Tie a scarf over hair and fasten at the nape of neck and wear striped T-shirt

• Buy or make card admiral hat and wear gold earring.

• Make pirate sword from cardboard or buy plastic sword

• Hang a skull and cross bone shape flag outside your house

• Hang some rope from the path way to your house

• Hang some maps and pirate picture around the room

• Hang fish net with sea shell or hang skeleton around the room.

• Used a big light brown paper as table cloth and draw some map and compass on the paper

Kid pirate party activities

• Treasure hunt. Hide plastic sword, eye patch and toy ship around the house and let the kids go and look for their treasure.

• Musical Island. This game is a variation from music chair, each child will be given an island cardboard to put on the floor and step on it. When the music start all the children are supposed to walk, dance or skip around but not allowed to step on any cardboard island. Once the music stop, all the children are to step on the nearest island but must not be the same island of the previous one. Each time the music is started, an island will be taken away. Anyone who does not has an island will become the judge, the game will continue till the last person who left on an island is the winner. (This game will be suitable for pirate theme party or Peter Pan theme party). If you are having dinosaur theme party than the cardboard can become dinosaur instead of island.

• Sword fighting. Divide them into two team used bread stick as sword the team that has the most sword broke after the sword fight will be the loser.

• Pin the eye patch on the pirate. Draw and pirate on a big piece of paper and hang it on the wall. Blindfold the children one by one and give them an eye patch and on the paper.

• The one who pin the eye patch nearest to the pirate eye is the winner.

• Tug of war. Divide your guests into two teams, placed each team at the one end of the rope and tight a ribbon at the middle of the rope. At the signal, the team begin to pull the objective of the game is to pull the opposing team to its side.

• Sink the ship. Divide the children into two teams, fold some paper ship and put them on a container with water. Give the each child some marble and let them throw at the paper ship like cannon bomb. The team that sink the most ship is the winner.

• Make skull-faced sandwiches with carrot crossbones crossed beneath – or do same with jacket potatoes and sausages.

• Popcorn serve in paper ship • Blue jello with gummy octopuses suspended in the middle to look like the ocean.

• Golden nuggets (chicken nuggets)

• Make, buy an island shape cake or ship cake

• Serve chicken drumstick but no eat with their hand right pirate
