Cowboy birthday party Games and Activities

Shooting competition Light out candle and children will take turn to use the water gun to shoot out candle flames. The winner will be the child that shoot out the most candle flames

Musical chair – Set up chairs in 2 rows back to back. Put out one less chair than there are children. Play western music, when the music start, all children are suppose to walk a round the chairs. When music stop each children must each sit on a chair. The child that don’t have a chair will be out. Remove another chair before the music start again, repeat this process till the last child that got the child is the winner.

GOLD RUSH - Scatter some sweets or golden chocolate coin around the party place and hide some to make it more difficult to find than the other. Let your guests to mine for gold. They get to keep what they find.

Water gun fight – Give each child a water gun loaded with water to shoot at each other like a cowboy.

Roping contest - Make a lasso by tying a slip knot in a piece of rope and taking turns trying to lasso the horns of a bull – that is, the handle – bars of a bicycle.

campfire story telling - Gather around the campfire and tell scary or exciting Wild West stories (visit the chidlren’s section at the library for ideas)
