Exchange present: Ask all the children to bring an inexpensive, wrapped gift, with no gift tag on it. Have all the children draw numbers and choose their gifts in numerical order.

Pin tail on deer. Draw a deer without a tail on a big piece of paper. Mark with a cross where the tail should be and pin it on the wall. Blindfold the children one by one and ask them to pin (or tape) the animal. The nearest person to the cross wins. Another variation of this game is to tack up a dozen or so small inflated balloons and have the blindfolded children try to pop them with a pin.

Christmas stocking decoration.Provide one plain, unadorned stocking for each child with decoration supplies: glue, glitter, stickers, ribbons, red, green and white felt squares, felt-tip markers etc..
