Children Outdoor Games For Your Outdoor Party

Are you planning for an outdoor kid party and you need some children outdoor games to go with it? You have come to the right place, we have a rich collection of children outdoor games that will suit to any of our outdoor party themes.

Throwing dart

Magterials required

1. Darts
2. Dart board ( you can used major paper and draw the your party theme characters
and stick it on the dart board draw the circle with different points on the
characters that you had drawn on the major paper divided it with different points and the center circle will have the most points)
3. Each member will be given 3 – 5 darts to draw at the dart board
4. Points will be awarded according to where the dart lands
5. The team that had the most point will win

Electrocute

Materials required

1. Two heavy – based stands
2. Twisted iron wire ( thick) with bells attached
3. Make a circle of wire with attached handle

How to play

1. up the players
2. player will take turn to loop the wire hoop through the twisted wire without touching it

Hoop the Loop

Materials required

1.coloured cones or soft toy of your theme characters
2.Rubber rings

How to play

1. Fasten cones to the floor/game area
2. Group players into groups
3. Each member will take turns to play
4. Player is given 3 rubber rigns
5. Player should stand behind a line drawn from a distance from the ring and try to throw and loop the rings around the cones
6. More points can be allocated for cones further away
7. The team with most points wins

Ping Pong Egg or dinosaur eggs

Materialsrequired

1. Ping Pong balls
2. 4 egg trays
3. colored markers
Stain the egg trays pockets with different colors denoting points to be awarded
(e.g. 5 points will be awarded if the ping pong ball lands in the yellow pocket with black lines and 3 points for the red pocket ect)

How to play

1. Group players into groups
2. Each member will take turns to play 3. Each player will be given 5 ping pong balls to throw into the colored pockets on the egg trays from a specified distance
4. Points will be awarded according to color
5. Team with most points wins

Catch the tail

A game inspired by seeing dogs running around in circles trying to chase tgheir own tails.

How to play:

- Form teams of at least 6 persons
- Each team form a line with each person holding the waist of the person in front
- The first person (the ‘head’) will try to tag thelast person the ‘tail’)
- If the chain is broken while the game is being played, the two persons at thebroken ends will becomes the new ‘head’ and ‘tail’
- From personal experience, your group will end up laughing and rolling on the floor before long.

Wheelbarrow Race

Pair off your guests into group of two. One member of each team walk on his hand while the other hold his leg. At the signal to start, they will race to the finished line. The first pair who reached the finished line will be the winner.

Tug of war

This is one of the popular game for both kid and adult party. Divide your guests into two teams, placed each team at the one end of the rope and tight a ribbon at the middle of the rope. At the signal, the team begin to pull, the team that managed to pull the oppose team to it is the winner.

Limbo competition

Place a broomstick between two chairs. All the children will have to queue out in a straight line. One by one they will have to pass under the stick without using hands. Each round the stick will be made lower. If they fall or touch the stick they will be out of the game.

Treasure haunt

This game can either play in door or out door and can be use in different party themes. Hide the presents behind around the room if indoor or behind the plant or around the garden if is out door. Give the children some clue and let them find the present.

Water bomb

Divide the guests into two teams and give them each a pile of water and plastic bags to contain water. Once the game is start all the children has to quickly fill out the plastic bag and throw the water bag at the opposite team. Remember to ask the guests to bring extra clothing if you wanted to play this game.

Balloon battle

Each child tight a balloon at their leg below the knee when the whistle is brow, all the children will try to step and burst each others’ balloons. The last person with the balloon not being burst will be the winner.

Egg and Spoon race

Give each child a spoon with a hardboiled egg or chocolate or pin pong ball. The objective is to run from one end of the garden to the other with dropping the egg the first one who reach is the winner

Divide the guests into two teams, line up the two teams and give everyone a spoon to hold in their mouths. The first player will have an egg or pin pong ball on the spoon and must past it to the next player’s spoon without touching it. The first team who pass it down the line is the winner.
