Your new born is on the way and you are wondering what kind of baby diapers you should used for your baby? Baby diaper is an essential aspect of a child’s and consequently, parent’s life. Choosing a right type of diaper will safe you and your baby many sleepless nights, comfort to your baby, convenient to parent and most important save you cost. Unfolded diapers are large rectangles or square of thin cotton cloth and you need to fold to fit your baby’s shape. Diapers pins or a Snappi diaper fastener is needed to hold the diaper.
It is the most cost effective, cheapest way, they dry fast and will fit a baby from birth to toddlerhood. However, you will need to waste, easy to leak and diapers pins is needed.

Pre-fold diapers

Pre-fold diaper is a piece rectangular cloth that has been folded up and sewn to stay. However, you will have to place them in a Velcro or snap-closing waterproof cover usually make of waterproof fabric. They are sewn with several layers down the center section, so little or no additional folding is needed. However, there are more pieces (the diaper, the cover and diaper pins) because of that , parents might get nervous about it.

Fitted diapers

Fitted diapers have elastic at the waist and legs for a comfortable fit. They usually close with snaps or Velcro, and they tend to prevent leaks quite nicely. A diaper cover is used over a fitted diaper. It is more expensive than pre-folded and un-folded diapers but cheaper than all in ones diapers. You will also has to buy different sizes when your baby grows.

All-in-one diapers are the combination of diaper and cover into one piece. A pocket diaper has a layer of fleece on the inside to keep baby feeling dry and an outer layer of waterproof polyester to contain leaks. An insert goes between the two layers in the pocket for absorbency. This diaper closes with Velcro and is closing design like a disposable diaper except that you can wash and reused. All-in-one are the most expensive diapers. You will have to pay an out front of $16 – 20 per diapers but you will still save in long run as compare to disposable diapers.

There are many brands of disposable diapers and you will have to try which fitted our baby best and different brand will have different absorbent capabilities and prevention of leaking. Disposable is very convenient and in general it has a better absorbent as compare cloth diapers. Is and last longer at night and is convenient and easier for travelling. However, disposable diapers is costly in long run and it is make out of paper, plastic and chemical which is not good for your baby.

To get the best of both world, some parents used clothing diaper in the day when the baby is at home and used disposable diapers during the night where it can last longer and easier to change so as to have a better sleep for both baby and parent at night.
